This is the kind of loss you look back at, later in the season.

Romy and Cedanne swinging out of their ass at trash. Two terrible ABs.

Cedanne needs to go. He had his chance. He failed. Get rid of him now for a bag of golf balls.

If we can get that much.

I actually auditioned for the role of Catwoman-but I was too good. I got rejected when I actually managed to cough up a hairball.

Can't let a good Gio start go to waste. Don't know how many you'll get.

Houck needs to come up big today.

Do we ever really do that with one game?  I think if the bullpen ends up blowing a lot of games, you look at that.  But you rarely look at one game in April.

I have, before. When it's late in a season and we are down 1-2 games in the WC race, I think of the many winnable games we let slip away, and sometime a single game or two stick out.

One of my favorite themes--- 2 strike, 2 out pitching .    Some can do it and some cannot.

The loss of a 6 run lead after two outs in the 5th, no one on base points to the pitching,  BUT

after the 6th inning, the Sox hitters conjured up 1 single in the 7th-8th-9th and 10th to seal the deal.  They k'ed 6 of those 12 outs.

Nah, if you score 6 runs the hitters did their job.
