I had game day up for a bit while Dalbec was up. Everything was blue (ie he can’t hit a pitch thrown there) except middle inner half of the zone. He really is just as useless with a bat as JBJ was.

At least JBJ had a decent stretch in his prime where he had a bat. Dalbec had a brief hot streak at the beginning of his MLB career and he’s seemingly gotten worse ever since

But he is starting to hit better. I think he has a future for the Red Sox. If he can hit, with Devers, Duran, Casas, Wong, Mayer, Anthony, Yorke, Teel, Abreu, Hamilton.... the Sox might start winning more games than they lose. And Kristian Campbell is on fire in the minors.
