The White Sox have a total of only 15 wins so far this season. They might be one of the worst teams in a long time.

Incredibly enough, the A's only had 12 wins through the same number of games (61) last year. They ended up 50-112.

Chicago is reportedly willing to deal both Crochet and Luis Robert. Cue some crazy Boston offers that can't be refuted by pay sites.

But first, eliminate names to save posters some time: Mata and Dalbec.

Still eligible: Perales and Anthony...

I see the Red Sox bats come alive yesterday, and some players padded their stats to make them look better than they really have been. Duran, D Smith, O’Neill, and yes even Never Devers. Good for them. On to Chicago. MEH. Luckily the good stuff starts up again tonight. LETS GO CELTICS!

Too much waiting between games for basketball and hockey fans.

Just read that if there's a 7th game in the Stanley Cup finals it will be played on June 24. Now that's ridiculous.

I agree that playing Basketball, and Hockey into June is ridiculous, but then again on the other side playing baseball through late October is also. The postseasons just keep getting longer, and longer, and deeper, and deeper into seasons. The World Series can go into Nov this year.

Are ponds still frozen up there by then? They never freeze any more in New England. RIP pond hockey.

But pickle ball courts are popping up everywhere -- passed one up close the other day: looks like they use whiffle balls and ping pong paddles on a numerator of a tennis court... perfect for big gulp Americans who can pretend they're exercising. I broke more of a sweat playing Defender in the '80s at the local watering hole; that was a workout!

In Halifax, when I was growing up a lot of us had rinks in our backyards!

You can still get out on the pond for a skate sometimes in deep winter, but no, they don't freeze as well as they used to.

Here in Portland, I had a couple friends who had rinks in their backyards. We had a frozen pond about 200 yards from our house.

Those were the days!

Actually, Perales (3.5) and Roman Anthony (51.5) does work out for Garrett Crochet (56.5) on their model…

When's Crochet's 2nd TJS?

I would say that the valuation on Perales is light considering how he's pitched this season and that he's now almost a top 50 prospect on BA. If BTV reevaluated, the trade could be an overpay.

Oh they don’t consistently update. Probably a mid year re-evaluation at the earliest…

s***. I had 27 as the first legit shot at WS contender. Damn. Pass on Crochet rocket.

But by 2027, TJ recovery time might be down to two weeks. It would be like a glorified hernia at that point…

I don't think medical science is advancing quite as fast as you're suggesting...
