Which players are moved at the trade deadline for prospects? Turner, Kike, Duvall, Kluber, Schreiber? They won't get much for them but what good are they on this team.

 

Schreiber is one we shouldn't trade, he's under control through 2026.

Duvall may bring something if he hits when he gets healthy. This team really sucks right now with no hope in sight, except for maybe Bello. Paxton did ok in his last rehab start. What a mess Bloom has created.

 

But what team would want them? Except maybe a team that got rid of an all-star OF, SS, DH recently and needs a utility player to compensate for them?

Yet he's the biggest trade chip, especially in the most fungible area of big league rosters: the bullpen. Houck may be more valuable in the long term, depending whether he develops into a legitimate starter, but Schreiber can make a good team better this year.

I doubt the Cards accept this approved BTV deal:
