I am not watching. Just on the thread intermittently. When it became 4-0 after Phams idiotic play I turned off the tv because the game was already over. It’s not entertaining when the Sox aren’t even competitive because they are playing brain dead baseball.

completely flat with no desire, internal problems and these guys don't care, happens in all sports

Does every loss mean the guys don't care?

Someone else gets the to be the thread starter tomorrow. I went 3-1 but the slider just didn't bite tonight

Ya dun good, Vegas. Not many have gone 3-1 since July. You're still in the starting rotation.

Did someone take JD’s binky iPad again? He’s looking more like he did in 2020.

I think his back is still bothering him and has been most of the season. I think Bogaerts has some nagging little thing as well. Their swings just don't look the same as in the past.

Devers is obviously taking it easy on his hamstring, as his average and hard contact has plummeted since his return.

Problem is the Sox need all three and really don't have viable options for even one of them, let alone all of them. JD is probably the easiest to replace.

Do you think they are playing hard? Its natural when your season is just "playing out the string" to tune out, and thats sure what it looks like to me. Its been that way for a while now.

Ya, they're all playing with nagging somethings that have sapped their power. Pro ballplayers don't suddenly forget how to do something they know how to do really well -- unless something is preventing them from doing it.

I don't get a sense that they are playing hard or focused, but I don't get a sense they are not playing hard. When you win, you see the energy via enthusiasm and celebrations and it looks like they are trying hard, but sometimes many just don't look like they are trying when they lose. Maybe they are.
