If Bogey and JD aren't traded and they both leave at the end of the season, what level of prospects would the SOX receive from the team(s) that sign them?

Or would the SOX receive that team's draft choice?

The Sox have an academy on some island where pitchers are trained to bounce throws past any base. If they hit the actual bag with a throw they are automatically voted off the island.

Lester was their star pupil for throwing the ball to any bag and missing badly.

Brasier was not that bad. He gave up a run, but got 2 outs. Strahm was the absolute killer out there--two hard hit singles plus a stupid and bad throw did the most damage, then aided by Cordero's stupid throw home for a second error.

Then, with no one out and Verdugo on 3b, he gets picked off.

At some point, the players have to get some of the blame.

Speaking of which, the Sox first four batters are 1 for 11 with 5 K's, 1 BB, and a single by Devers. Is that Cora's fault too?

Brasier sucks. He is a bum. You don’t need to slice it. He is one of the worst RP in baseball, period.

Bums bring collaterals. Put Strahm there in the first place and nothing of this would have happened.

If the Rays win this 3-2, they win by scoring one freaking earned run. The Sox defense sucks. So does the baserunning.

This is on Cora. Why do you put Brasier in a close game? Why?

So who would you have put in? How would you have stitched together the last 4 innings? Come on, answer a simple question.

Prediction -you won’t.

Would trading both Bogey and JD be the better option?

Oh no since Sunday the sky is falling again. Fire sale must be next.

I guess JD must be really sore. Nurse Cora must think so.

He was kind of out of players but I would have had him hit for Franchy and hope ran into one. Problem was if JD had only tied the game, he would have had to go into the field, but that’s a risk I would have taken.

I don't really care one way or the other if Cora stays or leaves, but I would like to live long enough to see V-tek manage the SOX.

Question is would he want to manage.

I see that the Arroyo is injured again. I definitely wouldn't ship Arroyo thru UPS, even with all the bubble wrap.

He would have had to take the field no matter what…

Whoever. Whoever is better than Brasier. Not rocket science.

Brasier is not our worst pitcher. Not even close.

Yes, it's not rocket science.
