Will this go down in history as Thornburg's best game for the Sox?

Is this the same Thornburg who played for the Sox and was a complete disaster?

Can the Sox get double digit runs for the first time this year?

(Are they the only team that hasn’t scored double digit runs in a game?)

Judge with a 3-run walk-off for the Yanks.

Maybe we gain a game on the Jays?

Got to get by the O’s first who won again tonight.

I am so ready to move on from Vaz for next season.

He is absolutely hopeless hitting with a man on 3rd and less that 2 outs

Not the same old Story, finally!

Two hits tonight, and hit the ball hard another time, so hopefully will keep rolling this time.

I'm not trying to start something, but someone ripped me to shreds for saying close to this same thing a while back about Story after a 3-4 game streak and a ball hit hard that was almost a HR off the high left-center field wall.

I won't name names.

Another good night in long relief for the BP.

The pen has done better than the starters almost equally, this year- game by game.

Maybe they are over their rough patch.

Now, let's hope the bats are over theirs!!!

Their rough patches usually happen in a 1 run game in the 8 & 9 inning.

I’m just wishful hoping, but I get what your saying.

We all are hoping Story become a story for a better reason.

Maybe this is the game we look back on as the turning point.

Sox bullpen - 122 IP 4.19ERA

Sox starters - 137 IP 3,28 ERA

But the bullpen has an ERA of 3.85 among pitchers whose names do not rhyme with Bat Marnes...

You conveniently forget about the 10th inning and its stopper - Matt Barnes. He's the stopper because when he comes in, you best stop watching ...

They won like Red Sox used to win, let's hope this jump starts these guys

If the team keeps winning it will relieve some of the pressure on Story and he will come around

The starter ERA is 2.79 without Pivetta.

OPS Against as a starter:

.467 Wacha

.622 Hill

.627 Whitlock

.663 Houck

.702 Nate

.795 Pivetta

As a RP'er

.304 Schreiber

.384 Whitlock

.411 Strahm

.556 Valdez

.588 Robles

.647 Danish

.651 Sawamura

.714 Brasier

.721 Davis

.745 Houck

.782 Barnes

.857 Diekman

.997 Crawford

Take away those bottom 3, and the other 11 have prettyb decent to great OPS Against numbers. 11 should be enough to work with, when we have an 8 man pen. If our starters ever get all healthy at the same time, our pen could be okay or better.

Story and Verdugo made some loud outs. Xander had some quiet hits. It's how baseball works these days.

Take away the bullets and JFK was enjoying a nice ride in a convertible......

Judge was enjoying a nice run around the bases, until Bogaerts gunned him down at the plate.

Last night Judge seemed to be enjoying his run around the bases!

Right, it's all about what's happening now. That's why it's so lame for the past 20 years to keep showing Bucky Dent's pop-up from 1978... especially when a lot of other things keep happening with the Yankees and Red Sox on the diamond.
