Ok, get shut out by Shohei Ohtani?

That’s understandable. But Keuchel? Is this 2012?

There are no stats that even place them as average. Fire Fatse now!! Go without a hitting coach! It will be better!

Fatse is unquestionably the most inept individual in franchise history.

It does take a lot of talent to shutdown this offense the way Fatse has…

Folks would probably cut Fatse a little more slack if he had a better name.

It's a very bad name. I just wasn't expecting the performance to match it.

First he needs to unscramble himself. Then his name literally becomes a synonym for a base-hit: Safe-t

So the closest thing he has to a qualification is an anagram?

The *Fates* have decreed otherwise.

That could be a new thread. How many words can you find in coaches names?

As long as the Sox don’t replace Fatse with Jarrod Saltalamacchia…

Runs per game down to 3.28. Is this the low point, or are there further depths to be visited?

In my experience, whenever you ask questions like this: "How bad could it get?" "What could POSSIBLY happen?" "How much lower could we go?"

you tend to find out.

I know. And sometimes, unfortunately, the only thing that's interesting is how incredibly bad it is.

While I totally agree, it still isn’t an excuse for the status quo…

I have never seen an offense look so futile.

I can't believe we are 2 games behind the Orioles.

This is the low point. I won't permit the team to go any lower.

Will you be leading off, batting clean up or pitching the 9th?

LOL. This team has fractured. Last year, there weren't contract concerns or squabbles. Now the futures of the two pillars on which this team is built are truly in focus as guys about to be dealt. That really can change a team's mindset

I thought the Yanks "fractured" when Reggie Jackson and Billy Martin went at it in the dugout during a nationwide broadcast.

Fractures heal very quickly, at times.

That was a better team than this current sox team......

He does have a point, though, about us having so many of our best players looking like they'll be traded before their contracts expire.

It's funny. The contract squabbles are so bad that the guys who are squabbling are playing f***ing great. It's just affecting the guys whose contracts aren't affected?

Well, maybe it's that those guys are performing for their expected big paydays while the others are disheartened thinking those guys are gone and they have to play out the string.....

This doesn't make sense. They are sad that some guys may be theoretically leaving at the end of the year. I could see that affecting Raffy, but not sure why that would bother Story/JBJ/Kiké/Dalbec...

Because even though the sox are pretty bad with guys like devers and xbo, they will almost certainly be worse without them. I don't know many people that enjoy being part of a s***** team that is resigned to playing out the string.

Do you mean for the rest of this season or for 2023 and onward?

That’s an insane reach.

Judge is having his own contract squabbles. Is he taking down the rest of the Yankee lineup?
