Other than the grand slam, Schwarber has been invisible this whole series.

Kyle, Hunter, and our bullpen backend

What about the last two games?

I thought Valdez pitched a heckuva game--8 innings, 3 hits, 1 run, which means he went through the Sox lineup 3 times.

As for game 3, their bullpen was fantastic. Five guys combined for 7.2 scoreless innings. That, however, was also the game in which Bogey doubled with one out and Verdugo and JDM couldn't bring him home and Arroyo tripled with one out and Schwarber and Raffie couldn't bring him him. In that game the Sox had a total of 5 hits, but they also were handed 7 walks. So definitely some choking going on. They were 0 for 9 with RISP.

So right now you and I and everyone else are watching a lineup that has now gone 21 consecutive innings while scoring exactly 1 run. That can't all be great pitching. There is some choking going on.

At this point the sox are waiting for the stros to take a huge lead. Man i miss those old sox teams that had fight in them until the last out.

His double leading off game 2 was a huge hit to get the Sox going after getting shut out in Game 1.

Nate needs to keep us lose and we need the offense to spark to get started.

Where are they gonna get a spark? They look a lamb being led to a slaughterhouse.

That's right, Clarice. The silence is deafening

Slide and you're safe.

Plawecki is calling a good game and contributing more than anyone else in the lineup. Pick on someone else. He didn't drop a ball for a double.

I wasn't picking on him. It was just a fact. Had he slid, he would have been safe.

And that 1 run was a solo homer. The 2 runs they scored in game 4 were on Bogaerts 2 run shot in the first. They haven’t scored a run on something besides a homer since the 3rd inning of game 3.

How could he anticipate a wide throw?

Yeah, but that only includes the timeframe in the final 2/3rd of game 3, game 4, game 5 and the first third of game 6. Oh, I see your point

The first-frame HR by Bogie in Gm 3 was the last hit by a Red Sox batter that meant anything. That was four days ago...

I say again, the Sox have now gone 21 consecutive innings while scoring exactly 1 run. Not all of that is great Astros pitching. There is some choking going on.

I never said he should have anticipated a wide throw. All I said was, if he had slid, he would have been safe. That is a fact that can't be disputed or argued. I don't know why anyone would take issue with a factual statement.
