It's great to see Pivetta step it up. With Perez and Richards losing all hopes for any future rotation duty, we needed Pivetta to come through.

 

Great trade by Bloom, last summer.

 

If we can hold this win for him, the team will be 15-8 in his starts. That 7 win differential is half our games over .500!

 

He only has one start, all year, where he let up more than 4 ERs.

 

He had a 3.78 ERA after 12 games, hit a bit of a rough patch (5.63 in his next 9 starts), but has now gone 2 starts looking like his previous self.
