If Bloom can trade Richards and Perez to create some more budget space as well as roster space, we could do some more dealing. We may go over the tax line, and not need to but I think it might be smart anyways.

 

We could even add a prospect that will not make our 40 man roster next year to either improve teh return or lessen the amount we have to pay on their contracts.

Hamstrings are unpredictable. Schwarber is projected for Second week of August, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see him until September. I guess, Kike will move to 2B full time and Verdugo will be the CF. Arroyo could be moved to 1B again until the IL comes again. Hopefully, Bloom gets a couple of pitchers.

Duran isn't going to the bench. He needs to play every day (or at least often) to try and fix his batting woes; that's not going to happen on the Boston bench.

I don’t get it either. Our starters have had ample time to show they can turn it around and be consistent and they have been terrible. Pivetta, Richards, and Rodriguez. They stink! No good consistently. I have to include pivetta becasue his last 3 starts have been awful!
