I think the Yankees are in deep trouble.

I would not make a straight-up bet that we finish ahead of them, but if I was given odds of 2.5 to 1 or better, I would take it.

It's interesting that two teams that were supposed to be offensive juggernauts, the Yankees and the Jays, are currently ranked 27th and 29th in offensive fWAR.

I have always thought that their rotations, outside of Cole, had just as many question marks as our rotation does.

Much to my dismay, I think the Yankees will eventually get it together, and will still likely win the division. However, it's not going to be the cakewalk that so many people predicted it would be.

I kinda wish the team would start making some moves, but I’m more a meddling person than a patient one

Not many moves are made in April.

Shows what you know! Tauchman traded for a reliever with a career -0.2 WAR. Let the turnaround commence.

Still, not many moves made in April. Like I said.

9 hits in 4 innings. Bout f***ing time. Also, Mark April 27, 2021 as the day Gary Sanchez lost the starting job

A year or so overdue if you ask me

Judge doesn't look injured tonight Bellhorn

The comments from Yankee fans about him looking injured (and there have been a lot of them) had nothing to do with his swing, only with his running.

Why was it his to start with?

Because Cashman thinks that the only players worth starting are those that can lift more than him in the gym

So we shift Higashioka into the starting catcher role.

Voit is due to return in 10 days. If Torres is still slumping, I move DJ to 3rd and Gio to SS and give Gleyber a breather in AAA.

The added benefit of Higgy is the defense and pitching. Higgy is a superior game caller and defender. It’s no surprise Kluber threw his best game with Higgy behind the plate

Clint Frazier: 53 AB, 0 HR, 19 strikeouts, .132 BA, .170 SLG, outfield defense: below average.

And he looks like crap in the outfield...

How far has Torres fallen?

WOW!

No chance that's happening. Anyway he's starting to hit a little better, though he still hasn't found his power: last 7 games .308/.379/.346

I've been saying this for years, but it's still a joke that the main reason Higgy is in there is because of Sanchez' bat. We'll see what happens the next time Gary hits two HRs in a game? A smart organization makes Higgy the personal caddy of Kluber.

If you call teeing off on lousy lefty Logan Allen and ending up with 6 hits warming up, sure. ;)

Today Logan Allen gave up a homer, homer, walk and homer to the first four Minnesota batters. Dating back to his last start, Allen has surrendered homers to six of the last 12 batters he's faced.

Why can't we ever find pitchers like him?

Of course, the one walk was to Nelson Cruz! Easily could have been 4 HRs in a row to start

Speaking of, Godley is on the hill for Milwaukee today. I wish him all the.... best?

Someone said the Brewers had the best pitching staff in MLB...
