Monty came up big against a really bad matchup for him with all those RH bats. Pen was lights out. Stanton is on fire. Hicks with a couple hits. Won 5 straight heading into a Cole start. Tomorrow should be fun

Maybe I do, who knows. I just know we already won the series heading into the final day with Cole on the mound. The team is rolling and help is on the way. Voit hit a dinger tonight as did Andujar in the minors. Britton will be on the mound in the next week or so in the minors. Sevy is tossing hard off the mound. The offense is showing signs of life, the rotation has been damn good and the pen has been almost unhittable. 11-3 in last 14 and rolling. I’m liking the upswing here

Hard to say if the Yankee bats sucked or Scherzer was just that good.

 

Either way, yanks came back to take it. Don’t be fooled by Gleyber’s two clutch hits. The first was a dying quail that fell in behind the second baseman. The other was a swinging bunt. But I’ll take them.

This team badly needs Luke Voit. Our opening day first baseman retired because he sucked so bad and his replacement was worse.
