True, considering that of the 10 ballparks he's going to pitch in, more than half of them are hitters parks. Camden Yards doesn't count though, because the Orioles offense is about as good as all their minor league teams put together

IDK. The O's have 5-6 guys that could hit 20 HR's over a full season. They're bad, but I think they could still take some soft throwers deep in BAL.

Ryu is a high injury risk guy who only pitched in the NL. There's a high likelihood that he gets rocked this season.

He’s an injury risk when counted on for 32-33 starts. But he might be able to make 12 for maybe 70IP...,

I do think losing Mancini - possibly forever - is a big deal to that lineup...

I didn't realize he was out.

The human resolve currently has a losing record against cancer.

The schedule for the Divisional races will be evenly balanced. However , the schedule for the wild card races will be more unbalanced than ever .

Not with that attitude!

All I'm saying is the odds don't stop me from believing. On the field, he's a pain in my ass but I still want the best for him

Players are reporting to Fenway today.

Colin McHugh on being tested for COVID:

I mean it's a valid point, but if we can find a way to play sports safely, I'm all for the healing effect it will have on the country. And stop me if I'm getting too political but rich people (ballplayers) have access to resources that other people don't. It's just the way the world works. It sucks that it's like that, but it is.

Did McHugh injure his flexor tendon taking the test?

Rocco Baldelli probably would've broken an ankle

Exactly. As for the metaphors of "battle" "war on ..." "winning" "defeating" ... I'm pretty much with Susan Sontag on this.

So if you ever get cancer, you would just prefer to die?

Maybe you should read Sontag so that you can respond in a relevant manner to what I was saying. (There's also likely a Wiki entry that will help you see what my point was.)

Sontag's quote most apropos to baseball was "you can not think and hit (some one) at the same time." :)

Ha ha. Do you know where she said that? (True not matter how you take it!)

If she were still alive I would say at spring training to JBJ. But No I don't.

Just trying to provide information on here and get away from the other less savory parts of the forum, wise guy

Well then try to provide more accurate information that doesn't make ESPN+ look like a rip off. It's actually a really good deal

This is about the cost to watch baseball, nothing else. I don't care about anything else on ESPN+ because I rarely watch it.

Ok, that's your choice, but saying that it costs you $5.99 per month to watch baseball is a deceiving and inaccurate statement when it comes to ESPN+

That's how much it would cost for me to watch baseball on ESPN+ plus. It's not deceiving or inaccurate.

Maybe we can steal a title in a 60 game season.....meanwhile

We get a break on Price sitting out the year....

What we got from Betts are looking better....60 games of Betts for 15 contract years...

No one is getting a $350M/10 year deals after this year....too much uncertainty...

Will Betts sign a one year deal?

Loss of Sale is not as painful with shortened season.....
