Agreed. This was as much on the ump as it was on Sale today. Absolutely horrendous. He should not be allowed to call another game this season. Just brutal.

Any competent 2B gets that grounder to start the inning and the homer is an out in any other major and minor league park except for the Yankee Stadium bandbox. Sale didn't pitch well but he deserved better. Thats the way the season has gone. Can't win the world series every year. The SKanks haven't won one in 10 years and they won't this year. Things could be worse. We could be Skankee fans and have that 10 year drought going.

What possible excuse do Alex Cora & Co. have for pitching Chris Sale again? They aren't blind, they arent stupid. Inexperienced? The guy is, and never was, a "pitcher". And is no longer a "thrower"

 

I go back to McKechnie, Stengal, etc. I None of those people would have continued using him as a starter. Not since Not since the first of May!
