Chris Davis now officially has the longest hitless streak in MLB history! At least for Orioles fans he’s only getting paid till 2037!

The only thing that compares to the entertainment value of someone who is really amazingly great is someone who is amazingly bad.

In other news of horrible starts, Trevor Rosenthal finally changed his ERA from 'infinity'. It's now 72.00.

Khris Davis of the A's has hit more homers in 2 games at Camden Yards, than Chris Davis of the Orioles has hits since August last year at Camden Yards. What an absurd stat.

What a bum. My streak of never popping out to first base still lives on!

Was it Wade Boggs who once went a full season without ever fouling out?

It's Pomeranz vs. Buchholz tonight in the Jays/Giants game. I find that interesting!

Bees seize field and wreak havoc on Giants-Reds game

By Associated Press

CINCINNATI — A swarm of bees settled above the backstop screen shortly before the first pitch, prompting an 18-minute delay to the start of a game between the Giants and Reds.

The game began after the swarm moved toward the upper deck.

It’s the second time the Giants have been involved in a bee delay in Cincinnati. A swarm went into the Giants’ dugout at Riverfront Stadium on April 17, 1976, forcing a 35-minute delay. The Reds won the game 11-0.

There was a 17-minute bee delay before another game at Riverfront on May 11, 1987, against the Phillies. Reds starter Ted Power got stung on his hand.

In the Bee Game, won by Cincy 12-4, Pomeranz was the starting pitcher for the Giants, giving up 7 runs in 1.2 IP.

The Giants bright spot was Pablo Sandoval, who hit a 3 run homer and also pitched a scoreless 8th inning (not kidding).

Why can't we get players like that?

Former Red Sox player Ryan Lavarnway recently got picked up and promoted by the Cincinnati Reds. Tonight he has finally had his breakout game -- 2 HR a Double and 6 RBI. He was a big favorite of Seabeach Fred who though he was a can't miss hitting prospect.
