I certainly agree that the players who are in the game are trying to perform.

 

My only point is that the teams don't really care as you can see by the lineups and subs and pitching choices. It's gahbage time.

 

And yes, it always feels better beating the Yanks than losing - even in actual pre-season games, crazy as it is.

 

Even though the game did not mean anything, this was a nice way to end the regular season. It is also nice to win the season series.

Yep. Then the winners move on to the NLDS while the losers play Tuesday in the NL Wild Card Game with the winner of that starting the NLDS on Thursday. Crazy week with lots of potential travel for one team.

 

The game also counts in players stats. A chance for Yelich to win a triple crown. Cool huh?

Three years in a row losing in the first round especially after the season we have had is something that I couldn’t take. World Series would be fantastic but I just hope they can make it to the Conf finals and make it a hell of a series. If we do make it to the World Series there isn’t a team that scares me. I don’t think we would have much trouble against Atlanta, La, Colorado or Milwaukee. Cubs might be a challenge but that’s about it.
