Orioles announcers are bitching about the overturn now lol "WITH THE WAY TONIGHTS GONE TRUMBO IS AS GOOD AS OUT".

Well Gary Thorne, you dipshit, the ball beat him, he's out.

I hope Gary Thorne is forced to suck a bag of dicks sometime in his life, he truly deserves it.

Don Baylor was a man. Machado is a baby. Sad!

Why do people continue to assume that professional athletes (at least those since the good ole days when they were all tough guys like us) are or aspire to be as macho and bad-ass as the average internet poster?

Why doesn't Moreland stretch toward the throw?

I don't understand half the stuff he does. He really doesn't play like a gold glover at all.

hard to second guess a firstbaseman when he catches a ball on the bounce.

I'm still holding out for Thorne being gang-raped by a bunch of homeless people and then left for dead.

when betts hurts himself getting back to 1b like that, he reconfirms how weak our baseball sense is on the basepaths. we anticipate nothing and everything is a surprise out there.

the difference between chris sale and all other sox pitchers is that chris sees a 0-2 count as an opportunity to get the batter out. all our other pitchers consider anything other than a borderline wild pitch (on an 0-2 count) to be very, very risky. heck, most of them won't throw another strike until at least a 2-2 count.

Seems like Barnes can't spot anything but his fastball tonight and even a few of those have been outside the zone, but he's getting the job done.

He gets the ball and throws the ball. All the other pretenders agonize about each pitch like it is the 7th game of the World Series. Rhythm is the pitchers friend and the batters enemy. There is no way that a pitcher can establish positive rhythm by taking so long between pitches.

That's why Chris Sale is the ace of the staff. He's got the stuff to throw it over the plate and he knows it.
