All in all, not a bad April for the Sox. I would've liked to have at least 3 more wins, but they've faced some adversity. I'm looking for a split here, but If we get to Bundy, I love our chances to win this 4 game series.

Let me tell you something based on bitter experience. You do not want to mess with the northern long-eared bat, especially if you want to do construction near their possible (not actual) habitat. Around here we kind of think, "let sleeping bats lie."

OB is gushing about Flaherty and his accomplishments and here's one more. His American Legion team won the National Championship the summer after Flaherty was graduated from Deering High School. Four players on that team got drafted by a MLB team but AFAIK Flaherty is the only one still in pro ball.
