No they aren't. I've tried listening to a radio broadcast while watching on tv, but the two are never quite in sync.

 

I guess I could go to just listening.

Honestly, yes. At least for a lot of those White Sox games last year, Hawk wasn't in booth for whatever reason, it was two other guys. Gary Thorne is 18+ games a year of ear aids.

Actually, Kimmi, et. al. may not have the, ahem, pleasure of listening to Hawk. Ken is lousy and can be annoying, but anyone who is willing to call Joe West a joke on the air at least rates a few extra broadcast points in my book. And Hawk doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is, a homer.

 

 

Thorne, on the other hand just comes across as a total asshat.
