It is the 8th inning. Guys should have been stretching, and someone should have been throwing after the Home Run. If not then, he should have visited the mound after the next batter. He gets paid to manage games and lock them down. There is no excuse for Farrell waiting so long.

Pitchers tend to lose it suddenly late in the game, and Price got hit on the leg with a hard drive 2 innings before. That could have been swelling or getting stiff. Farrell got caught with his pants down. He wasn't prepared.

This team is wildly inconsistent and finds a lot of ways to lose ballgames. Really, you have a pitcher near 100 hundred and you don't have anybody warming up...but the blame goes to Abad. What a f***ing idiot! There is no way we make the playoffs with this pitching staff and this slooooow dimwit of a manager. Why do we torture ourselves watching this garbage? 5 f***ing runs in an inning? WTF.

He really sucks in close games, I mean, REALLY. Look at his Fangraphs page and scroll down to their Shut Down/Melt Down, it's an even 44/44, the latter will go up when they update tomorrow. Just don't throw him in a close games.

To be fair, few relievers have good W/L records and he spent 3 years with Houston, last year with Oak, and this year with the Twins. That's the majority of his career with some of the worst teams in baseball. Not surprised with his W/L
