Do you guys think Swihart has value outside of being a catcher......... I'm with you all............ I really liked his game last year....

 

I've been lobbying for about two seasons that he should be moved to 1st or 3rd because he is so athletic and has that great bat. Why beat his kind of talent to s*** behind the plate? Just because a catcher that can hit is more valuable than a 1st baseman who can hit?

 

I have no idea what they plan to do with him. But he should be playing in MLB every day.

When Swihart is healthy he should be on the MLB roster at the very least as a backup C/OF. He can hit and needs to play.

 

I would DFA Hanigan when he comes back, worst case scenario we still have Leon/Vazquez/Swihart as catching options, all of which have been better than Hanigan this year
