Lineups posted yet?

i expect to see one Mr. David Ortiz back in the lineup. wondering if they will flip-flop shaw and hanram? JBj back to 9-hole?

I think one or more of the lineup players who played Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday could get a rest tonight. I remember Farrell (and others) liked to alternate lefty and righty batters, but so far leading off with three straight righties has worked. Keeping Shaw in the 5 slot after Ortiz would provide back to back lefty bats. Then Ramirez, then Holt, then the catcher, then JBJ. At some point, if JBJ gets his stroke back, he should move up, but right now he is not a bad fit at 9th.

What is the weather like in Boston? Cold? Down here in N. Virginia it's in the low 50's.

I liked reading Wright's comment about getting to fly back to Boston ahead of the rest of the team to get ready for his start today. He is really enjoying this whole starting pitching thing.

Go Sox!

Wright has really been a somewhat unexpected bright spot. He honestly doesn't deserve to have the W/L record he does, and he's done a great job of keeping the Sox in games so far. It's been a pleasure to listen to, and I'm looking forward to tonight's game. I'm going to be listening on the radio while I walk the dogs for the first few innings, so I hope to come back to a gamethread full of effusive praise for our starter. Don't disappoint me, now. I have so few joys in life.

I have zero joys in life, yet you refuse to give me the one thing I desire with all of my being: An honest to God, old-timey fistfight 'till one of us can't go anymore. Why deny this old man the one thing he truly desires before he kicks the bucket?

I'm becoming a little uncomfortable with how often you bring this up. You know I like women, right?

Just admit you're scared to fight me and move on. Don't make it awkward.

Pedroia does indeed look like the Pedroia of old. That dinger was up enough to have gone out deeper into right. Good swing.
