As Usename said, my original link was outdated. Interesting that the Cubs have dropped to #20. Guess their prospects are all up in the bigs now.

The prospects are there, but not much help before 2017 at the ealiest.

Woooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my fandom and my fantasy team thank you

Seriously Pedroia went undrafted in my league. I know he's been hurt, but he's a top 10 second baseman until then.

How many teams are in your league?

All TalkSox members are welcome. I recruited this year quite a bit. SK, we expect you to sign up for our league next season to show us what you've got.

I always forget about the fantasy league on this site, I've been wanting to join for a while.

Only league I'm in right now is a work league with idiots

JBay, this is like the third time you've given that excuse. Don't make me go over there.

Don't do the TS league. A700 snipes the 1st pick. Scam.
LOL! I usually get one of the last picks. I prefer a middle pick in the draft. It keeps me more engaged. I hate having back to back picks and then waiting for 22 other picks to pass. Plus, I had a dilemma until the last instant between Harper and Trout and Kershaw.

Someone hit me up next year, because I have a horrible habit of being inactive on this site until the regular season starts up. I've been meaning to join for literally years, but rarely post in off-season/spring training and by time I remember, you guys have drafted.

I would love to play in a league against people who know what they are doing/use real categories. My work league has idiots, who don't want to use OBP, OPS, quality starts, or anything of that nature, but use "losses" as a category, which is similar to turnovers in an NBA fantasy league, you want little as possible. This stupid category has made it so Felix Hernandez (1-2, 1.80 ERA) is actually hurting me because he doesn't get wins.

You chose correctly.

Wright is quickly becoming my favorite knuckleball pitcher since 1995 Tim Wakefield.

I TOLD YOU!!!!! Lol.

I said before his beaning last summer that Wright was going to be a contributing pitcher in 2016.

I'm not surprised at all. Wright has better "stuff " than Wake as well.

I don't think he will continue with the sub 2.00 ERA indefinitely. But I do think that he could make 20+ starts and win 12 or so.

I only had Gameday for the last two innings of the game. Just watched the video of Pedroia's second home run. How embarrassing is it to give up the homer right after two of your teammates let a ball drop between them like a couple of little-leaguers? The Braves are atrocious.

I think is probably pissed off Perzinsky... which makes it all that much better.

A good game overall, especially the hitting, and in spite of the four passed balls by Hanigan, about whom Jerry Remy said repeatedly that Wright's knuckler was really jumping last night. I remember when Epstein suddenly brought Mirabelli back just to catch Wakefield. Remy also pointed out that Wright is mixing in a fair number of fastballs and curves. He finished with I think 7 innings and 1 earned run--ironically, I think the unearned run was because of Wright's errant throw to 2B on what should have been a GIDP.

Yeah the league I'm in (for 6 years - I am generally not good) is a head to head standard 5x5. I really liked the one year I did a standard roto ... this year I picked 9th and 11th in the 10 team league. Somebody drafted for me with my player list (I have little kids so attending a live draft is tough - especially when guys are taking way too long in the 22nd round).

My top pick was McCutchen. So far hovering around .500 - which I am not displeased with. But this week Cutch and Pedey have clearly helped!

Wright figured out how to cut down his walk rate a couple of years ago. When Dickey learned how not to walk batters, he won the Cy Young. I'm not saying that Wright is going to win the Cy, but if he can continue to keep the walks in check, he should be very successful.
