The review team did not invoke the rule after almost 10 minutes even though Machado did the same thing that Bautista did earlier in the month by trying to grab the fielder's leg. It seems to be an inconsistent application of the rule. Ventura got tossed after the determination.

Even Orioles announcers said that with the way the rule has been used and with the definition of rule, that is should have been a triple play.

Seems like this kid Michael Conforto is the real deal.

Oh, so you're a Mets fan now?

Yeah I decided to hop on the Mets bandwagon, they're a fun team to watch, can you blame me with how bad the Yankees are this year?

Posted
Yeah, I can. No matter how bad the Red Sox may be on a given year I am a Red Sox fan through and through. Honestly this explains a lot.

Meh, I watched the Dodgers when living in LA. Listening to Vin Scully on the radio was the greatest (the only reason I tuned in). I hated the Giants and A's when living in the Bay Area though.

Lol I wasn't actually being serious, I rooted for them in the World Series last year but at the end of the day I am and always be a Yankees fan. I would never attend a Mets game or purchase Mets merchandise, or root for them when they play the Yanks in the subway series.

No sir, you said it yourself: You're a bandwagon Mets fan.

I understand it's not always easy to identify sarcastic comments posted online.

UN?, give him a break. It took a lot for Divinity to come and post on TalkSox while the Yankees are playing badly. It's the first time he's ever done it!

Also, in the cruelest of ironies, he's not very good at detecting sarcasm/satire.

Don't worry, NYY still has a comfortable lead in bandwagon fans. Stop any random ******* on the streets of Manhattan who's wearing a Yankees cap and ask them to name a current player not called A-Rod. Thirty percent of respondents will say Derek Jeter.

The team that shouldn't have any bandwagoners is the Cubs, but you know a bunch hopped on after their great start and will hop off again when, as sure as s***, they fail to win the series this year.

If you hail from New York, you can't root for the Yankees and the Mets. You have to choose between them. Repeat: You have to choose between them. Don't give me this "As long as one of them is doing well, at least New York is winning" spiels. What is this, the sports fan's version of bisexuality? How about making a choice? Any New Yorker who said the words "It's the Yankees versus the Mets ... I can't lose!" during the 2000 World Series deserves to be tortured with a cattle prod. - Bill Simmons

Listening to the Mets announcers you'd think Colon just hit a walk-off grand slam in Game 7 of the World Series.
It is kind of wild that he hit his first MLB home run at age 43.

Second deck, too. He always swings like he's going for the long ball, and he basically screws himself into the ground when he misses. Like the announcers said, it was inevitable that he'd catch up to one eventually.

Really, your going to complain about players celebrating mothers days and using pink bats, that are auctioned off to donate money for breast cancer research? does the color of the bat really effect your watching of the game in anyway whatsoever?
