Want to know? He wouldn't take it well at all. But I might try to give even him a taste of his own medicine. If he says OK, then I will be wrong. More than half the posts mentioning you are about you and not about your opinions or ideas about baseball. That gets tiresome, and they are not good natured at all, and they know it. Pete (Spud) is a mature level-headed guy who usually stays out of that fray, but we all behave badly at times.

I agree. We all fall prey to the darker sides of our nature from time to time, but it has been a well-traveled 2 way street with Fred where he has been outnumbered. I am pretty sure that Fred would be happy to just direct his anger at the FO, the players and ocassionally an umpire. Why people take offense to that is beyond me, but they do, and the s*** storm gets stirred and everyone behves badly while claiming righteous idignation.

They really should shorten the season to 150 games or reinstitute scheduled Sunday double headers so there are more open dates in the schedule. Greed prevents the scheduled DH's. Players sped up those games on their own, because they didn't want to be playing for 10 hours.

User, I've gained some respect for you recently so let me tell you I do not like any of these pissing contests I've had with some others. Truth be told I don't like conflict at all.....I just have a tough time letting snide insults fly by without responding. As for the hug, I'll ask my wife for another one when I see her tomorrow. She went down to baby sit our two grandkids and then will go watch them in a play they're in tonight (both Kayla and Kyle have leads).
