lol ya Born I get what your saying. It's why I never totally count them out until the math says so. I swear there is some spiritual possession going on in Yankee land sometimes haha

I have to say, it's bizarre to watch Kevin Youkilis get hit by a pitch while in a Yankees uniform, see the pitcher get thrown out, and then watch Terry Francona, in an Guardians jacket and hat, come out to argue the situation. Two years ago the entire episode would have seemed like a horrible, horrible dream. Now it's just funny.

Sitting 88-89 most of the game. Those who pined for the Red Sox to acquire him should be having second thoughts right about now.

You can ad Dickey and Buehrle to that list as well

Carlos Quentin is a little bitch.

yes what a moron.. he doesnt deserve to be playing for 2 months if thts the amount of time Greinke is out..

it was also pretty moronic of Greinke to lower his shoulder and allow a 230 lb man charging towards him to run into it.

Yes because obviously you have a lot of time to think when a 230 lb man is charging you. Think before you comment.

What Greinke did was his best bet. That's how you're taught to take a hit full-on, since it lets the body's natural shock absorbers take most of the blow. I've seen a lot of hockey players take a hit the exact same way. It was reminiscent of the way Milan Lucic took a hit from Alex Emelin lately, and Emelin definitely got the worst of that contact, so if Greinke got hurt there it was just bad luck and anything else he could have done carried a similar injury risk.

The moron here, if there was one other than Quentin, was A. J. Ellis, for not getting between Quentin and Greinke in the first place.

This. Even in little league they tell catchers to charge and stop a hitter that's going after your pitcher.

This. A nice big suspension should be forthcoming.

I'm not glad Greinke got hurt, but in general I'm rooting for the Dodgers to fall apart. f*** 'em.

Reyes being out won't be what makes or breaks the Jays. Dickey, Johnson, and Buehrle will do that.

Losing Reyes is a huge blow. When he is playing well, he is a game-changing player.

Quentin dropped his appeal to the suspension so it'll start tomorrow when the Padres play the Dogers. It's the right decision, but he's still a little bitch.
