I agree on Darvish...glad Texas decided to be the gluttons for punishment this time. Now if we could only get New York interested in a Japanese pitcher.

And the innings go by one by one....the innings go by one by one....the innings go by one by one AND WE SUCK

Do you think some time on this west coast swing our nitwit offense will realize that the pitchers they are facing are just pitching them into the big parts of the ball park so that we can play catch with their outfielders.

See: 2008 DiceK.

Very similar comparison coming from a fan who watches Darvish on a regular basis. The Rangers offense supports him heavily when he starts and he has been fortunate to get key outs with runners on base.

I will say that Darvish is more polished and consistent in the strike zone than Dice K ever was.

Wow' date=' just turned MLB.tV on and this?, wow! D-K shiitted the bed didn't he?[/quote']

Doesn't take too much investigation work now does it? Dice K is officiall unvaluable

Guys.....this is actually a blessing.

Instead of Dice-K going 5 innings and giving up 5, he gave up 5 after 1 inning. That means we dont have to watch him for the rest of the game!!!!

Yoenis Cespedes is not Japanese, if that's what you meant.

Also he's been pretty good. .843 OPS, pretty much what was expected.

I know he isn't Japanese. I was just saying typically players that come from Japan aren't really successful in the majors. At least that's what I observed.

Based on what? He leads the AL in walks.

We just need to send a care package to the Cubs with all the rest of the s*** Theo hung on us. Top it off with Dice-Krap. Time to shed the albatrosses once and for all.

If AJ Burnett could get traded for more than a bag of hot s***' date=' then Dice-K should be able to find a home somewhere.[/quote']

Yeah he got traded for a bag of hot s*** and some warm pee. :)

Gotcha. Was confused because you quoted a post about Cespedes.

Also, this ballpark is s***.

Burnett is actually doing great now. Perhaps Dice-K should join him in the NL.

Yeah, I guess you're right. :D

Punto>Lillibridge

Punto is hitting .200 this year and Lillibridge is hitting .000 this year in a Red Sox uniform. We might as well bring Ciriaco or Iglesias up, they could at least match the offensive production of either Punto or Lillibridge.

It sure is a mystery how the FO keeps accumulating s***** players, keeping better ones in AAA.

Seriously though, I actually think the AL East teams (or at least the one I know the most about) get used to pitchers trying to get ground balls and simply do not know what the hell to do with a team full of pitchers that are trying to pitch them into the big parts of the outfield because they can and because they have outfielders that can go get the ball. For my money we are playing the 5th game in a row based on that premise and we still have not figured out what the hell to do.
