But at this point, who really cares about final numbers? If he just puts up a 2nd half of the season like the 1st half numbers he had last year (.354/.414/.591, 17 HR, 77 RBI), I think we'd all be thrilled. Not with his overall numbers, but with his 2nd half.

 

He just needs to put this 1st half behind him, and play like he can for the 2nd half.

That is not going to happen. If we win tonite our offense is going to have to score a lot of runs-at least five. DiceK stinks. Stinky pitchers surrender lots of runs. His ERA is about 5 now. Correcting for the fact that the A's cannot hit much, they will score four runs against him. In five or fewer innings.
