Well considering his glove is attached to his hand which is attached to his arm which is attached to his shoulder, there could be some correlation between the two. :harhar:

I was commenting more on his offense than his defense though... clearly something isn't right both mentally and physically right now which is affecting him at the plate and in the field. Hence my desire to have him go on the DL for a bit to get right

Perhaps you both are correct: he isn't accustomed to playing a lot of games, and is wearing down physically and mentally. Having Jose in the wings probably isn't helping his confidence...

He wears down. He obviously has stamina problems from playing everyday. Whatever little ding he has to his shoulder shouldn't be turning his glove to steel. I think he is a very good role player' date=' and that he can have a very productive career as a utility type player, but he is not a full time guy.[/quote']

I agree to an extent... that said I don't think Lowrie's really ever had a shot at playing an entire season until now and this is his first injury/health related issue so far. We're almost 2.5 months into the season now... a lot of guys get hurt around the league this time of the year.

If he's not capable of staying in the lineup and being productive everyday I'm fine with moving him back to the utility role until he figures it out.

He can't f***ing hit.

Lowrie is hitting .238/.299/.344 from April 29 through Yesterday. I wouldn't really say that Lowrie is hitting either. And it's not just a 60 AB span, that's a substantial portion of this season.

He hasn't hit well in about a month.

The Yankees are a bunch of f***ing punks. They spend an entire series lying down and being our punching bags then decide to mouth off to an Guardians team that's 0 for their last 20.

True... problem is, Scut can't play everyday and I don't think Iggy is ready just yet. That leaves us with Lowrie, who clearly has issues right now. Personally, Tito needs to platoon Lowrie and Scut until one or the other gets rolling big time.

Too bad O-Cab struck out looking and then got himself ejected arguing with the ump... damn Skanks getting off their skid so soon... was hoping for a few more losses against Cleveland

yeah, i just watched, damn Skanks!<_>

It would be so awesome if we could work out a deal where we get Reyes AND Beltran.

Don't even put those thoughts in my head. I'm already working out a trade on MLB The Show

They could go that route... only problem with that is 1. Reyes will be a free agent next year and expects a Carl Crawford like payday. Not going to happen, especially not from the Sox; and 2. The Mets will undoubtedly want a big haul back for trading away Reyes and that would undoubtedly start with Iglesias when it comes to the Sox. No way we trade him now after sending away 2 of our best prospects to SD for A-God last winter.

If the Sox make a move it will be for pitching (starting and relief) and/or a role bat. Not much else really that we need that's worth giving up the farm to get.

I don't think they expect a big haul for less than 3 months of Reyes.

Same thing for Beltran, but even less expected in return, ESPECIALLY because Beltran isn't projected to be a Type A or B FA next year, so there will be no draft pick compensation for him. I think the Mets are still quietly debating whether or not to re-sign Reyes, but Beltran is as good as gone.

They're paying him a lot of money, and when he signs elsewhere this offseason, he's not going to give the Mets anything in return, so they might as well go for a B level prospect and eat most (if not all) of the salary, or go for a C level prospect with some upside, and get some salary relief.

Is there a video without such terrible framerate?

Why do we care about Rizzo? I don't get it.

I just want to see the kid do good, obviously he was brought up through our system. It's ok to have an interest in players who don't play for the Sox, ya know.

He plays on a terrible team that plays too late at night.
