No s***... it may have hit the bat but it also hit Youk in the hand... is it just me or are the umps getting worse every year? Seriously this season has been atrocious, especially for the Sox. Last night's blown call on Cam and the crap call just now are the latest among many

What is Lowrie's problem now? He has cooled off considerably both at the plate and in the field...

 

I think his shoulder is worse than the Sox are letting on. Would prefer to have him go on the DL for a bit to let it heal and use Scut/Iggy in his absenseh

This month he's got 11 RBI in 8 games. That's on track for 34 this month (25 games).

Well considering his glove is attached to his hand which is attached to his arm which is attached to his shoulder, there could be some correlation between the two. :harhar:

 

I was commenting more on his offense than his defense though... clearly something isn't right both mentally and physically right now which is affecting him at the plate and in the field. Hence my desire to have him go on the DL for a bit to get right

He wears down. He obviously has stamina problems from playing everyday. Whatever little ding he has to his shoulder shouldn't be turning his glove to steel. I think he is a very good role player, and that he can have a very productive career as a utility type player, but he is not a full time guy.
