The silver lining when AJ Burnett pitches is that you don't have to watch him pitch for another five days.

The incredible inconsistency is why he's one of the few guys on this team that I don't enjoy watching.

6 years ago Dipre. Prior to that the sox hadnt won in 86 yrs. As much of a choke as it was, your team did choke for 86 straight yrs. I have now seen 5 titles in my life. So no matter how bad the choke, just remember that I went into winter a happy, happy guy 3 more times than you have. And this team, even with their shortcomings, is a championship caliber team.

Back to the game, Burnett has been frustrating as usual. Stuff looks incredible, but he has a run of brain farts that cost us games. Hope we can score some runs off this scrub pen

A choke job is a choke job, and just like last year's championship, it's in the past (but it was still a choke of epic proportions.)

Yeah, I know. We had this one though. AJ had this game and let it go and our situational hitting sucked again. Regardless, we get to face a team that cannot hit next and the sox and rays are losing. Maybe, this one wont hurt

Just as the Yankees seemed to be getting completely healthy, Gardner and A-Rod are out. Hopefully neither injury turns out to be serious.
