    The Red SOX are waiting for an after Christmas sale. I’m not to confident BorASS will give them one though.

    I think you’re spot on. He’ll extend the young guys cause it’s cheaper, but only offering Alonso 3 years for someone I believe they wanted is a tell, and goes along with what McAdams reported that an agent old him. I still think years is the sticking point on Bregman. If Donavan comes next that will even be a Bigger tell.

    It’s good to know when next season starts on March 26th it will count in the 2027 standings. Not only would I trade ANTHONY for 1 year of Skubal I’d throw in Mayer, and Duran too. A real BLOCKBUSTER.🙈🤭

    Schwaber’s bat would have helped the lineup, but no position. Alonso’s contract May age poorly, but so may Bregmans, but I still think it’s BREGMAN, or nobody on a long term.

    Plus the Red Sox didn’t even make an offer to Flintstone, and half an offer to Alonso whom the Red Sox were supposedly interested in.

    It doesn’t matter if you predict, suggest, or anything else you want to call it, because as I’ve said before I’m most likely going to respond the same way, which is what I think the Red Sox will ACTUALLY do. That’s a guessing game also, but likely a lot more accurate, and realistic.

    I don’t know about a haul for any of the OF. Abreu has been a platoon, and I think Duran’s value was higher last year at this time.

    I’ve been saying for the past few years that you don’t have to wait until you go so called all in to improve the club, because you are not guaranteed something better will come along that you are willing to afford.

    I don’t really think the RED Sox really want to trade for someone with 5 yrs left on their contract that will take them to 36-37 yrs anymore than they want to sign a FA under the same circumstances, and I think that’s what’s holding up any Bregman signing. McAdams already reported an agent told him the RED SOX didn’t want to sign any long term FA contracts.

    OMG! 2026 is the here, and now, and you don’t give up a year for anything, because you’ll never get it back. 2027 isn’t guaranteed for anything, and I’m not even going to think about 2027 until next offseason. If you’re not going to play to win then don’t play at all, and I’ll say that every time.🙈

    I think right now Brez, and BorASS are having a tug of war on the length of a contract for Bregman.

    If Bregman gets at least 5 years I hope it’s with someone else. NO opt-outs either.

    First of all Casas has to get healthy, and then he probably needs to go down to WOO for a little while, and see what happens, and then go from there. I’m counting on Masa still being on the team, so nothing new there.

    That’s the total proof? Of course it couldn’t have been the better than good starting pitching over an extended period of time from CRO MAN, Gio, and Bello that made the record what it was over that time period. We’ll never know, but I think it had more to do with the pitching than it did with RAFFY leaving, and I’ve always have thought the Red SOX would have had an even better record if RAFFY had stayed not to mention making a difference in the PS.

    The screwup wasn’t about last year, and Duran has always played in the field. Nothing new. Think Raffy would have helped the RED Sox going further against the YANKEES IN Yankee Stadium in the playoffs?🤔

    Yes, and SF unloaded Hicks on the RED Sox. I wouldn’t give up on Casas though. He needs to get healthy, and spend some time down in Woo to get straightened out.

    They couldn’t trade CASAS last year, and is LESS desirable now in a trade.Mybe throw in Hicks, and Masa to get it done.🤔

    Rebuild/cliff, or whatever you want to call it was self inflicted, and didn’t have to happen.
