    I’m just saying that you can’t just look at what Raffy has done since he left Boston, and just assume that would translate to the exact same numbers if he had stayed in Boston, because of the things I mentioned like mindset, effort, and atmosphere. I’m not arguing against any numbers he has put up in SF.

    When you can measure effort, and mindset, because of atmosphere let me know. Don’t believe in data, or doesn’t care about data? BIG difference. As I’ve said 100’s of times the only stats I care about are actual stats that show up on the scoreboard in real time. That’s what works for me. You guys can go nuts with all the other stuff all you want.

    Can any of these things measure atmosphere? Can any of these things measure mindset? Can any of these things measure effort, because of the atmosphere, and mindset, and if they can’t how can you say that Raffy would have the exact same stats if he had stayed in Boston than what he’s accomplished in SF?

Nice try, but it’s nothing but fantasy speculation that you can’t measure what stats Raffy would have put up with the Red Sox based on what he did with SF of course leaving out the things I mentioned that CANNOT be measured, and you don’t have to be any kind of genius to understand that. NO MATHEMATICAL input can measure the things I mentioned that you obviously don’t understand.👋

    You guys think you can measure anything, and you can’t. You can’t measure mindset. You can’t measure effort, and you can’t measure atmosphere. Trying to comp exactly what he did with SF to being the same thing in Boston is completely fruitless, and useless, because of what I mentioned IMO.

    Huh? I t would be completely different atmosphere, and circumstances that NOTHING you can up with could measure. Translating means diddly squat.

    It’s not like Chapman hasn’t been traded before like by the Yankees, and then they got him back.

    I agree, and anybody you trade like Con Man, or Chapman they have to be replaced.

    Are you speculating he’d have those same numbers if he had stayed with the Red Sox as the DH?

    That’s pure speculation. As I’ve said before I’m not downing the Con Man. I’m just saying that Alonso has had, and will have more HR, and RBI at the end of the season. Just go back, and compare their production stats since 2019 when Alonso started his career. It’s not that close on the HR, and RBI.

    Then I guess it’s been the same way all throughout their careers. Of course that doesn’t account for the HR.

    And as I said then, and I’ll say the same thing now that Alonso will end up with more HR, and RBI just as he has throughout his career.

    The starting rotation looks good until the IL comes a calling. Let’s see how. Early, and Tolle make it through the rest of the year before expectations for next year.

    Some were, but I wasn’t. Con Man has worked out well so far, but career wise he hasn’t had the BIG bat Alonso’s had. Con was cheaper option for a shorter period of time.

    I’m not for going all in on anybody now. I’m for riding things out until the trade deadline, and then unloading what won’t be around next year.

    I’m for just riding things out as they are right now, and just limbo how low you can go until the trade deadline. Getting a BIG bat like Alonso who hit his 15th last night should have been done in the offseason.

    Arias is fine right where he is in Portland.

    Watch the WHITE Sox for that. A team that lost 100+ games last year right now is a better watch.
