  1. Thanks. I guess it depends what you need most. In the Red Sox case both.
  2. What does that amount to in Saves, HR, and RBI?
  3. I will take the people who hang out at the bowling alley along with the ones who frequent the local longest running sports talk show in New England along with the Major talk shows in Boston not to mention the major sports networks to what little common sense that comes out from behind the Curtain. It’s amazing to me that all those people have no common sense, or are wrong, but throwing spaghetti against the wall a thousand times over does. Those fans are more accurate than you, and more right than you. Your average is worse than DUBins. Now posting 9th for TS #0 MOOn DUBins.
  4. Mookie also said the reported 10yr/$300M offer the Red Sox reportedly made didn’t happen.
  5. That doesn’t support any theory that Betts wanted out, but only supports the theory that every step of the way Mookie wanted to get as much money as he could. It was already mentioned, but I’ll mention again that by reports Mookie told Rice he didn’t want to leave Boston.
  6. Huh? Huh? Huh? How did you come up with Mayer has no trade value when the talk was all about Masa? Mayer wasn’t even MENTIONED.🤭
  7. What a Great weekend for sports! WNBA, NBA, a GREAT Indy 500, and the NASCAR COCA-COLA 600. Did I miss anything?🤔
  8. 22-30. 8 games under 500. I repeat 8 games under 500.🤮 What can you say that hasn’t been said before? Well about this? 8-17 at not so friendly Fenway. Finally the Red Sox have succeeded in falling all the way to the bottom in all of baseball in runs scored. 🤮
  9. Not getting a big bat in the middle of the order, and a 5 man rotation for 4 spots of DH/OF looks even worse now than before the season even started. Add to Mayer’s, and especially little Anthony not living up to expectations along with Duran’s troubles, and you are despite some pretty good pitching what your record says you are, which is pretty much being the lowest scoring team in baseball with a 7 games under 500 record. B O R I N G!
  10. Betts, and the Red Sox battled pretty much all the time Betts was with the Red Sox on a contract. Control time was running out, and the Red Sox wasn’t going where Betts wanted them to go on a last contract, so finally a trade was made.
  11. The Red SOX are 7 games under 500. I repeat 7 games under 500. 29th in the league in runs scored, and those 2 runs they somehow managed to score yesterday banging out 5 hits kept the Red Sox from falling to last place in runs scored.Yes they are still close to a wildcard spot, but only because the league is so watered down, and weak. Yes you can play the illusion of contention game that some are, but this is still a 7 games under 500 team no matter where they are in the standings. I don’t see at the moment things getter any better despite the good pitching they have gotten trotting out the likes of Gasper, IKF, Sogard, DUBin, and Golden Boy Mayer, and yes little Anthony in his cameo so far. This is definitely not the Red Sox that you’ve accustomed to watching swinging the bats growing up at pretty much anytime, and it’s definitely not must watch TV.
  12. It’s bad enough Red Sox fans at the game have to watch that mess, but they have to pay Top dollar to do so.
  13. If a team who is 29th in the league scoring runs can’t use Masa For Mayor why would anyone else want him?🤭
  14. Yes you can call them a third, fourth, or last place team, and have the illusion of contention, but what they have been so far in a very weak, and watered down league is a team 5-8 games under 500. 29th in the league in scoring runs, and they keep running out the likes of the not so great Gasper, Sogard, and DUBin, which is not must watch TV especially if your not a diehard.
  15. Well said, and not all fans are the same, or want to see the same things. I would trade for anyone today, or trade anyone today to help the Red Sox NOW. Tomorrow might just not never come, or be as good as hope, and hype will lead you to believe.
  16. There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home. 8-15 at home. Worst home record in all of baseball.🤮
  17. His big chance. Play him everyday, and let’s see what he’s got.
  18. These are all useless from what the original timetable was. Take little Anthony for example, and the day to day.
  19. Because you were counting on little Anthony to have a Fred Lynn type season when he wasn’t prepared to do so just for starters.
  20. I’m not speaking for the fanbase, but I hear a lot more of them than you do. As I’ve said many times TS does not have the pulse of RSN very often. What I don’t understand is the not getting in it to win it attitude. You guys are the diehards who watch every game, which i used to be, but now I’m just a bystander who remembers what it was like when I was.
