    I don’t think is worried to much about hitting in Baltimore. Bregman is not the hitter Alonso is.

    And no doubt Baltimore offered more money. I just hope the Red Sox won’t turn to Bregman now, and offer him more money than they would have before.

    I know one poster on here said Alonso would like Boston over Baltimore. I guess he didn’t read the room very well. All that hard work of penciling in Alonso in a imaginary Red Sox batting order down the drain.

    I don’t know if Brez got a face to face with Alonso, or not, but to get outbid by the O’s.🙈

    Alonso to the O’s for $155M. Love it, love it, love it. The O’s went hard after Flintstone, and now they signed Alonso. Who saw the O’s as being big players in the FA market. They also traded for Ward earlier on, so they have added some big production bats.

    Bregman isn’t a 300 hitter like he started out as last year. Some called it a slump at the end of the season, but to me it just evened out, and he just ended up somewhere where he should be.

    It might have said 3/120 on paper to Bregman, but I think both sides knew it was only going to be a 1yr deal. To me it will all depend on how many teams are in on Alonso now, and all it takes is 1 team to go nutty.

    The Red Sox have not yet met with Alonso in person only by zoom, and are trying to get an appointment to do so.

    I doubt it. Grissom for Sale, and $17M is a stain of Brez’s resume, and will be under the BB column.

    There is a report out there that the O’s offered Schwarber the same deal he got from Philly, so they now may turn their attention to Alonso.

    It is on Raffy being a difference in the postseason against the Yankees, and I don’t think it’s much of a stretch to speculate either, which I’ve been saying since the final out was made.

    That depends if any other moves had been made. Raffy could of made a big difference against the Yankees in the postseason though IMO, but we will never know.

    Bregman wasn’t worth $40M, and won’t be worth $200M IMO.
