  1. Especially bad, and inexperienced ones.
  2. Same old speculations on how the new GM’S had to work under such brutal conditions. Here’s another speculation that a better GM could have done a better job.
  3. I was talking about when Sale was resigned, and not when he was traded.
  4. And #12 Breslow was even worse as he did most of his work from home while with the Cubs.
  5. The Sale deal was a flop, and it didn’t have to be made when it did.
  6. There would have been so many things different. Good, or bad? Nobody will ever know.
  7. Of course you’re not defending, or apologizing for JH, but you have NO WAY, to know how things would have turned out.🤔
  8. Yes the so called foundation. Way too much expectations was placed on little Anthony to start with. Then you go to Crochet whom i questioned all offseason if his first time heavy workload from last year would affect him this year. It did. Story, Mayer DUBin, and Duran all got off to less than stellar start to be kind, which has also led to a not so stellar record to be kind also. Con Man, and Gray have been great, and Ranger has had some good moments, but not enough to offset the holdovers from last year.
  9. Willing to take on contracts can mean many things as did full throttle.
  10. I don’t see the Red Sox picking up that contract for Adames anyways.
  11. Is Mayer still a platoon player? Huh? He’s still not only a platoon player, but gets pinch hit for when he starts against a RHP, and a LHP comes in.🤭
  12. I’m fine with sticking with, and counting on the Con Man for 2027. Who’s his replacement if he left?. It’s taken the Red Sox a few years now, and many tryouts to get someone the caliber of the Con Man as it is to play 1B. Even if he falls off some he’s fine for now.
  13. HUH? BIG difference. Chapman actually happened. The Red Sox spending $15M on a catcher on the down side isn’t happening.🤭
  14. Yes you’ve thrown up Sean Murphy, and his contract.🤭
  15. Either way it goes nothing is stopping him from resigning with the Red Sox. If you trade him you have to replace him, which isn’t so easy to do. The Red Sox lucked out with Chapman who wasn’t signed to be the closer in the first place, and nothing more than a BP piece.
  16. Well he didn’t walk after last year, so I see no evidence he would do it after this year. Pure speculation either way at best.
  17. You keep thinking there’s going to be more money out there.🤔
  18. That’s the way the contract reads. Pretty straightforward.
  19. To much worrying about this, and worrying about that. He did get 20 million this year after the year he had last year, so it’s far from a certainty he would get that next year.
  20. Either way he can still sign back with Boston if he wants too. The Yankees traded him one year, and signed him back the next. That could happen too.
