    Some were, but I wasn’t. Con Man has worked out well so far, but career wise he hasn’t had the BIG bat Alonso’s had. Con was cheaper option for a shorter period of time.

    I’m not for going all in on anybody now. I’m for riding things out until the trade deadline, and then unloading what won’t be around next year.

    I’m for just riding things out as they are right now, and just limbo how low you can go until the trade deadline. Getting a BIG bat like Alonso who hit his 15th last night should have been done in the offseason.

    I agree, and if you sell the backend of the BP then they will have to be replaced and most likely at a higher cost.

    Of course it depends what you mean by a scary contract. I think Masa, and Story contracts are scary to the Red SOX.

    Agree that Mookie, Bogey, and Raffy should be in a Red Sox uniform. Time is short for today’s suspects/prospects, because the ones that have signed already most likely won’t sign another contract with the RedSox.

    Anything short of a winning record, and a postseason appearance is a failure in most fans eyes. Yes we know your either win a WS, or it’s a failure opinion, and that works for you, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work for most Red Sox fans, and most would take to see this team turn things around, and get into the postseason, and take their chances in any year. If you’re not playing to get in, and win then why play at all.

    You can only kick the can down the road for so long, and I think most fans think it’s been too long already. As I’ve said more than once waiting for the farm boys to get here, and be AWESOME hasn’t worked so far. Some have been injured like Casas, and little Anthony. Some have been traded like Teel, and KC came up, and now pretty much sucks in Woo. One of the Golden Boys Mayer is still a work in process also.

    Let’s play Jeopardy. This team is led by the 12 pick in the 2023 HOBO draft. This team is 29th in MLB in runs scored. This team is LAST in HR in MLB. This team is 10-21 at home, and 12 games UNDER 500 for the season in a watered down weak league , and is a laughing stock throughout MLB. Sell it? Fire it?

    KC is back sort of. If May wasn’t bad enough June hasn’t started out to well either going 1-17 with 6 K’S. 67 K’S in 180 AB for the season. Ouch! Hang in there kid.🤫

    What’s the promo for the Red Sox returning to Fenway? Come, and watch the Red Sox as they return to friendly Fenway where the RED Sox sport a 10-21 record, and are 12 games under 500 overall. Not to mention also there is only 1 team below them in the league in the Wildcard hunt. Come, and see the likes of the Great Gasper, IKF, and maybe even Eaton will make an appearance. Being there is twice the fun.

    If Holly was the only one saying it that would be one thing, but I’ve heard FANS on 3 other shows say the same thing. To much singling out on just Holly when other fans are saying the same things.

    Number 1 I had already said little Anthony had been a suspect so far this season before Holly called him a flop. I only threw Holly’s name out to show what was being said elsewhere. Just like today when I heard a fan say they were fed up with Anthony already with his no shows, and lack of production. I don’t know where you got the silly notion from that Holly was a sole source outside of not venturing outside from here.

    You guys Crack me up when you down sports talk radio/tv, or sports writers you don’t like when TS is just a lesser version in itself from sports talk radio. I know it’s hard to fathom they might know more than the posters on here. I hear both, and I think that sometimes there are good points from both sides. Get as many different opinions as you can, or be sheltered whatever works for you..
