  1. The Bruins crapped their pants at the end of the game last night, but they did outscore the Red Sox.
  2. The Red Sox have scored 3 conventional runs the last 3 days, so they will probably break out today, score a bunch of runs, and make their stats look better than they really are.🤫
  3. I mentioned this past offseason more than once that after Cro Man’s first heavy workload of innings last year if it would have any effect on him this year.
  4. Luckily, and deservedly so for the Red Sox they are on the back burner of Boston sports right now. The Celtics, and B’s start their postseason tomorrow, and the NFL draft is next week for the Pats.
  5. RAF Man has moved up, but not enough to me.
  6. Is Casas still on the team, or traded?
  7. If Casas would have stayed healthy, and I know that’s a big if do you think Casas would be the 1B today?
  8. Cora’s radar? It took Cora a long time to get Kike off SS, and he was just a stopgap.
  9. Why would he talk to Devers? Devers was the 3B. Casas was the 1B, so Cora maybe unlike you didn’t see a need to change anything, so I don’t wonder at all, and never did. Same with asking Bogey to move.
  10. I read an article yesterday on theories why Cora does things the way he does. Of course one is Cora doesn’t want to upset his players, and another was Cora just believes in the seniority aspect of how he does things. Could be one, or the other, or a combination of the two.
  11. Most people don’t have say, and neither do any of us on here. This is Cora’s decision, and Corahas his own way of doing things.
  12. I’m not disagreeing with you, but Cora does things his own way for whatever reason, or reasons, and I don’t see Mayer being moved to SS anytime soon outside of a major injury to Story.
  13. I agree, and that’s why I said IF they view him more as a 2B/3B going forward with someone else viewed as the long term SS like Arias. I’m definitely not viewing Mayer as the automatic SS of the future, but like you said we don’t know at this time.
  14. I stand corrected. Catfish had gone to the Yankees in 1975.
  15. I don’t think it’s that simple if they view him as a 2B, or 3B better.
  16. It didn’t hurt Catfish that played on a team that won 3 championships in a row, and might have been a fourth if not for the Red Sox.
  17. I don’t even know how much the Red Sox value Mayer as a SS anymore let alone the SS of the future.
  18. I don’t know if Breslow agrees, or just asking to much.
  19. Mayer hasn’t proven he can hit MLB pitching, or stay healthy, or be an everyday player yet.
  20. And 2B has been a settle ever since Petey left outside of the 1 year Story played there. Settle after settle after settle.
  21. That would be an even bigger settle IMO.
  22. So you’re going with Romy was going to be the starting 2B if Bregman didn’t sign, and Mayer was moved to 3B?
  23. Ranger, and Dubin was the settle for Bregman. Ranger doesn’t come if Bregman was signed, and neither would Dubin.
  24. Bregman, Paredes, Raffy, Suarez, Marte, Horner, and more were mentioned, or could have been.
