Where did I say you defended Story? Where? Once again over analyzing again. I said you brought up the sample size when I questioned the move of putting Story if the two hole, which I didn’t think was a good idea.

I know you said Duran batting leadoff was a stupid idea, but the day I posted it Merloni said the same thing on NESN that night, and Middlebrooks, and Rice brought it up on the postgame that night, so it was more than just me.

Agree, but things get magnified when the Red Sox start out as bad as they did, and Mayer, and Anthony not hitting is one of the many reasons that have contributed to that. Anthony, and Mayer’s hype preceded them before they even got to Portland.

News flash they are not in a Red Sox uniform he moment, or in the same stage of their careers, but little Anthony is, so hoping little Anthony turns out as good doesn’t put any runs on the scoreboard at the moment.🙈

Yes many want to put Duran back at leadoff everyday, and see what happens. Yes little Anthony has some walks, but I think everyone expected more than 1 HR, and four RBI with a 217 BA at this point in the season even you.

Even when they decided he was going to be the opening day 2B last year they kept playing him also in the OF. KC was mishandled at the very, which has set him backwards for who knows how long.

Strange after giving Cora a three year extension, which pretty much has two years left.

The Story saga will be interesting to watch now that Cora isn’t there to protect him, and especially if he doesn’t start hitting soon. Also on Mayer if he becomes a FT player, or not.

little Anthony shouldn’t be able to field a ground ball in the OF before he gets to the big leagues? Seems little Anthony, and Tracy should be blamed for that, and not Cora. I could see how Cora would be frustrated with that.
