  1. I think you should say we meaning you who counted too much on Anthony, and yes it’s only May, and the losses keep mounting do they not? Anthony could hit a ton from May on, but it’s not going to erase all the losses in April, and all the losses that are piling up now is what’s most important at the moment.
  2. Good post. It’s very comforting to know that some have zero concerns about little Anthony, and statcast says he doing better than he is, but RIGHT NOW the Red Sox are piling up losses, and RIGHT NOW Anthony’s lack of production has a helping hand in that. All the early hype on him I don’t believe was, because he could draw some walks. I think most fans care more about relevant stats that actually shows up on the scoreboard, which lead to wins, and losses. Right now little Anthony looks completely lost out there. I watched Tony C come up at age 19, and produce, and produced even more at age 20. If Anthony is good enough, which I believe he is he’ll eventually get going, and if he’s not he won’t.
  3. The firing of Alex Cora by the Three Stooges is like crapping in your pants, and then changing your shirt. Best one I’ve heard so far.👏
  4. It cracks me up of all the excuses, and protection being thrown little Anthony’s way. Yes he’s only 21, and hasn’t set the league on fire yet, but that didn’t stop all the hype, and being anointed the next big thing before he did. He has 1 HR with 5 RBI one of which the pitcher fell off the mound trying to field a little grounder of his. Everyone expected so much more yes even at 21. His production, or lack of has helped the team to only have a 12-18 record. If he doesn’t pick it up soon maybe little Anthony needs to go visit KC down at Woo, or switch places with him. The early bandwagon counts just as much as any other time. He may turn out to be another Fred Lynn, but at the moment, which is all that counts at the moment he’s only little Anthony.
  5. 6 GB. 69-63 will get you to the magic 500 mark. If you can’t get there then playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?🤔
  6. Duran hit the ball hard last night, and was robbed with a great catch in LF, so I’d give at least another couple Of weeks.
  7. Agree on the stats. Raffy most likely would have put up much better stats if he would have stayed in a Red Sox uniform than what he’s put up in a SF uniform since he left IMO.
  8. Most likely any similar scenarios in is Boston days sooner than later will come out.
  9. Maybe Cotillo, or JEN.
  10. What kind of liquor bill do you think they rang up when Cora, and the coaches went out to drown out their sorrows in the NORTH END?🤔
  11. Heard an interview with McAdams this morning. Said he doesn’t believe the Red Sox timeline that the Red Sox decided to fire Cora Saturday morning. Wasn’t to impressed with a coaching staff being thrown together especially calling up a 26 year old from the Florida development league to coach 1B. Said it wasn’t a very good look. Said there was a lot of tension in the baseball ops office, and not a good place to work. Finally on TEK. Said Jason was the most upset, and pissed on the the house cleaning, and felt disrespected. Also told the Red Sox to take his reassignment offer, and shove it.
  12. Cora can just sit back, and collect his paycheck from JH for the next two years.
  13. I wasn’t really talking about now, but long term, and maybe why also why Mayer’s moves to SS now unless Story completely breaks down.
  14. As I said earlier the Sea Dogs Manager, who is now the Red Sox 3B coach said he thought Mayer would be a better 3B than SS. Arias could be the key on what happens there.
  15. I agree, and it will be interesting to see if Mayer plays next time a LHP is on the mound.
  16. Talk about a season that is wide open even at this early stage this year looks to be it.
  17. You can poo poo stats in April, but they are played in games that count in the standings just as much as any other time of the year. The final stats may tell a different story, but they all count just as the infamous SSS do. You don’t get games back after they’ve been played.
  18. Agreed. little Anthony in the three hole is a bigger problem to me. Except for the pitcher falling off the mound fielding his little comebacker last night with two runners on, and giving him a gift hit, and gift RBI his production numbers would look even worse.
  19. 5 GB. 69-64 will get you there.🤔
  20. Love to watch a good crafty lefty, which Ranger was tonight.👏
  21. I didn’t hear anyone on the airwaves today sad to see Cora go, and in fact most said it was overdue. IMO Cora was overrated, and lived off the laurels of 2018, which was a pretty stacked team. Even Farrell won a championship in his first year with less of a lineup. I think Cora thought he was untouchable, and was until now. Cora not shown any love out in other venues is pretty bad looking for him considering how low of an opinion people have for JH, Sam, and Brez.
  22. After all this time you still have NO clue on what I mean by the suspect-prospect term. 🙈🤭🤮
  23. OMG! Story is not a suspect even though his play is at the moment. All I’ve heard the last 3 years are the prospects are coming, the prospects are coming, the prospects are coming, and hyping them up before they even put on a Red Sox uniform, and produced to go from being a prospect from a suspect.
  24. Having guys who played the game agreeing with my position carries more weight than you having a different opinion for sure. You always seem to be on the wrong side of Memphis, which is probably why your average is so low, and you K so much.
