No, but Bregman was PLAN A, so I guess LOW Bres did, and that’s why no other move was made to get another 2B/3B that so many on here wanted until Bregman signed with Chicago, and then then Red Sox went out, and got a Cheap DUBin.
As I’ve said many times DUBin was a cheap settle after losing out on Bregman, and then signing Ranger. They probably would have gone another way if they hadn’t planned on Bregman so much.
You’re talking up a 21 yr old little Anthony now? We’ll have to see on how that turns out. At any rate things looked a lot different at a very young age looking at things than they do now. Fenway looked big on black, and white tv until you see it in person, and couldn’t believe how small it was.
The story was that Brez worked mostly from home when working for the Cubs maybe, because no one wanted to work with him, which may explain the so called bad work environment he’s created today.
Were you there? Watching Yaz, Watching a 19 year old Tony C, watching Dick Stuart hit 40 HR, and even watching Earl Wilson bat was more exciting than what’s going on at the moment.
LOWbres with probably help from Theo got the job with the #12 pick in the first place, and probably Theo’s help got LOWbres enough power with JH to fire Cora. After all it was Theo who fired TITO. As I said before the Three Stooges conglomerate of JH, Sam, and LOWbres are just not respected, or liked.
I haven’t heard to many going to bat for Cora, and I go to many different venues. The thing is though is that the ones who did the firing The Three Stooges are more detested.
Brez is definitely a piece of work. He’s made player moves that most likely Bloom wouldn’t have made like trading Sale, and trading for Crochet giving up some good prospects. Unfortunately like Bloom he looks for that third option in the fork in the road at trade deadline time. Not communicating well, and creating a bad work environment seems to be his motto. He definitely has more power than Bloom ever had as evidence by Cora at least for the moment anyway.
