    I don’t know if Henry actually told DD, or Bloom to actually trade Mookie, but it was apparent the Red Sox were not going to be able to resign Mookie.

    You’re ALWAYS on the wrong side of Memphis. If Fred said JH is cheap 1000 times you’d think it’s your obligation to say is not, is not, is not 1000 times back.

    Yes I believe most casual fans could care less about the budget especially the ones who actually go to Friendly Fenway, and pay the not so friendly ticket prices. Fans can say whatever they want to even if it is JH is cheap, and doesn’t spend enough, and you’re not ANYONE to say they can’t. Just like Fred who says JH is cheap, and explains why he says it. Genuine to you, and genuine to someone else could be two different things.

    The 2019 Red Sox scored more runs than the 2018 Red Sox, but the pitching wasn’t nowhere as good especially from Sale.

    I think his frustration started in the 1st inning when an error led to a 3 run HR. The he continued to get knocked around, and was probably told he had to take one for the team. Giving up the back to backs was the final straw.

    If you can’t get to 500 you can’t get to anywhere else. Kind of like if you keep getting to the fork in the road, and you keep looking for the 3rd option you can’t get anywhere else.

    The first offer made to Bregman early in the offseason pissed Bregman off to begin with. Not believing Bregman had another offer came later as did refusing to give a no trade, and to much deferred money. It all added up, or didn’t add up whatever the case may be.

    To me the point that the Red Sox won more games after Devers left, and that the offense didn’t drop off much of anything, but that the Red Sox would have won more games, and they would have scored more runs if Devers would have stayed IMO, and not to mention once again that he could have made the difference in the postseason against the YANKEES.

    little Anthony was already called Roman Garoppolo a couple of weeks ago on one of the talk shows, and here he is hurt again.

    I think it affected Duran that he wasn’t in the lineup everyday, and now that he is he’s starting to come around. No excuses for Story, or Dubin though. Hopefully Story goes on one of his hot streaks sooner than later.

    I don’t make season predictions, or go with any worthless projections, so let me say this about that. I don’t think the Red Sox are as bad as they have shown so far.
