    The plan changed for bresLOW, but NOT Cora. Cora knew Raffy best, and I’m was never a big Cora fan, but I’ve always gone with Cora on this one. The Red Sox had problems at 1B for a few years now, and, that’s how Franchy ended up there.

    Raffy was playing where CORA told him to play, and after a record bad start was doing quite well there. Casas being hurt shouldn’t have changed that , but bresLOW thought he knew best. He DIDN’T.

    Still wha, wha, wha, wha. I don’t think the Red Sox were planning on moving Raffy off 3B anytime soon, and when they did I don’t know if there was ANY plan to move him to 1B, but to DH when it happened. DH would have been his best position, which is what he was doing, and is where he should have stayed. No one they were going to put there would have better, so you weaken the team. Their first offer meant nothing as they only offered Bogey a 1 yr extension at the same time. In the end he was signed as a 3B, and nothing else.

    Ah a self proclamation, and a pat on the back at that. Not putting much value in what other people say is probably a big reasons why your predictions, suggestions, or opinions never happen. A curse. Definitely not a gift.🙈

    Story Land will be an interesting case once he’s all fixed up, and ready to go. No one has laid claim to the SS job though especially Mayer.

    Ah The Man Behind The Curtain differentiated a suggestion versus a suggestion like one cannot be as wrong as the other. They can, and they are.

    Never thought, or said it was a so called trade suggestion, and that’s why I called it a brain fart. Maybe go outside the internet, and you’d know more of what’s being discussed, and you wouldn’t be on the wrong side of Memphis so often. As I said before hypothetical, or not it’s a NO GO. IMO.

    I understand fully. It’s just more of throwing something against the wall that NEVER sticks. As I said it’s not surprising at all that some would think it was a good idea. Ive heard some real dilly suggestions on here that thankfully never happened. His contact would be a dealbreaker to me along with the player himself hypothetically, or not. Not only no, but HELL NO!

    Agree 100%. Trading for a 32 yr old SS with 5 more years on a contract no matter how much the Mets chip in does not sounds like something that Brez will rush out to do, and nor should he. It’s not surprising there is lots of interest on here in doing so though.
