Looking at the overall AL standings, it is a joke to see the East with 4 of 5 teams above .500, with only the Guardians, Astros, White Sox. above .500. from the rest of the AL All with lesser records than the Red Sox . One or more of these uncompetitive dogs will get a home series for the WC.

Excellent observation. Arias is very unlikely to be called up for this very reason. Keep him playing into 2027. Some may not think it but JH is a ticketing a long disruption to 2027 season

Once again, there will be no significant personnel nor contract decisions made until after the new CBA is done and JH knows the ramifications .
