The first step to Duran beginning to hit consistently will be to retire that prepitch leg kick or at least tone it down a lot. He is off balance and flat footed by the time the ball gets to the plate. I know some hitters use it as a timing device but Duran is not that good . Tell him to check out Ted Williams book and learn.
