  1. Sonny has earned his 9 wins with the supporting cast he has. Gray with 9 wins means the other 8 starters combined have about 23 total. Not all their fault
  2. More like he doesn't know anything else at his age
  3. Staying sloppy, Gray needs to K everyone and hope Wong can hold on to the ball
  4. Sox playing like the idiots of 2024 or the AAAA'ers of '26
  5. Let's see, a run each inning means 9 runs. so the risk is Rockies scoring 10.
  6. 2 thoughts; regarding Yoshida, the Sox will get to pay out his entire remaining 2026 and 2027 salary in any event, SO, see if you can move him for any price up to 99.9% of the remaining cost, clear the roster spot and use it to protect a RS Rule 5 eligible MiLB player. The roster slot issue will become more evident when & IF, Anthony ever returns Regarding Duran , the Sox will not extend him, he will cost another $7-$8 million next arb round, so again free up the spot and try to get any 2 armed, 2 legged young player to take this position and move on, wishing him well . He tried hard but never had all that much skill except for basepath speed and probably maximized his potential up to a middling ceiling. He is a certifiable, low esteem/self confidence head case who was bullied by his father IMO. The Sox seem to attract head cases , many of which show up on TalkSox
  7. Romy maybe, Roman... not this year and he will get at least a few months of 2027 off as well. I would guess he will play in 2026, but it will be September only.
  8. He needed it a month-to 6 weeks ago but no one had the guts to make that call. He would be as close now or closer to returning . He says he won't play with pain which is his prerogative , and he already has lifetime money , so tell me his incentive , except personal pride, to push his recovery.
  9. I was watching the Afghan-Sumatra soccer game but I trust Chapman shut them down 1-2-3, right?
  10. Come back to essentials: A team cannot score 2 runs and expect to win
  11. 8 straight hits and a loss. Duran can't find his ass with both hands
  12. Don't make fun of Rockies just yet. Chapman lost his last game also
  13. Mayer, disliking success, goes back to his pull out swing topping a bouncer to the pitcher. I think he may be a slow learner
  14. Same difference but unintentional success moving Durbin Yoshi must go
  15. Whitlock with a terrible inning , only outdone by Rockies running
  16. Whit trying to blow it but Cedanne's D saves him for the moment. Whit has been throwing soft balloons up there. Sox are no longer worst baserunning team around
  17. Notice how Mayer stayed in on the LH pitch from Bern and rifled it for a gap double. That is how to hit. No more pulling out looking up to the sky
  18. Nice to see Duran not chasing ball 4 Going to precall Durbin 3 run jack What I meant was rbi single but Durbin is on fire
  19. Like the Sox, the Rockies batters swing at a lot of out of zone pitches. Wonder if that is a correlating factor to W-L record ?
