Lowe is truly awful despite his unproductive. poorly timed hit -
Somehow the Sox held serve during the month Abreu was out. Anthony as well. Not a great record but enough. Could have played Eaton and let Abreu get some live BP against our own throwers

I was going to call golden sombrero on Abreu tonight but didn't want to do so before the 3rd K. To me the key, as with Bell-boy , is that he wasn't ready for the first inning. Now the real problem isn't rookie Early. It's that a team competing for a playoff slot didn't make serious efforts to bolster the pitching
