Absolutely prefer to go up against the Yankees with Crochet in the first game. Let's see if they choke. -
Better lineup than last night on paper. Let's see how it goes on dirt and grass. Still have to think hard about how a team gets to this type playoff eligibility game after a 4 year drought and has to run a second start rookie out to the mound to secure that win. Followed by the same situation tomorrow , if tonight doesn't work out. Here's an idea. Make it a BP game like Toronto did, but start with Wilson and Kelly so that there are plenty of innings to overcome the hole they will dig.

This is a bullpen game by Toronto that is throwing up a no hitter, no runners through 6. If they continue and lose this 1-0 on a Kirk inside the park HR with 2 out in 9th, the sphincter muscles will be cramping on the flight back to Boston
