Interesting that in ST in '25 , Houck and Crawford were key parts of the rotation . Now Houck will most likely miss most of '26 , and Crawford will have to scramble to become a part of the mix or perhaps go back to BP duty. I am guessing that out of the 26 man roster in the final game vs. Detroit , up to 8 players will not be on the 26 to open '26. That assumes there is a 2026 season, a whole new topic. -
If the sox had a 3 or 4 run lead after 5, would Cora pull Crochet to try and save some energy ? I say no, if Garrett is rolling Cora will try to get 7 from him, depends on pitch count , but there's no saving anyone until the WC slot is locked down.

Winning stops a lot of whining ! It would be helpful to get to Scherzer early and work the BJ BP . Give Crochet good support in his last regular season start, which also sets him up for opening the WC round. Crochet should cross the 200 IP mark tonight which is a huge contribution to this playoff race.
