Sorry to disappoint so many but I cannot take Roman as a serious hitter or threat at bat .  Just not sure about his competitive intensity. 

Have the feeling he has been handed a lot and he doesn't work especially hard at it

Me neither -- unless I was a billionaire owner of a baseball team that I still want to be a winner.

I know this game doesn't make a difference in the Red Sox standings, but I'd still prefer my key hitters in the batting order didn't warm up for the playoffs by taking strikes and whiffing at balls.

Real bad news regarding Guerrero. Not surprised how Tanner's pitching. And then there's the Sox offense. Hard to pile up much confidence entering Tuesday.

All the Sox will need is another miracle.

I will give kudos to this season's Sox team. They have to be one of the most fragile teams to ever qualify for the PO's.

I would say that they did the best they could with what they had, what their GM gave them to work with.
