What's neat about this chart is that it shows how Tracy sees his bullpen.

Tonight, however, is tricky because he is skipping Gray's start to give him a long break and Bello won't be available for long relief.  My guess is he will bring someone up from Worcester.

Last night the Sox pitching gave up 8 runs to the team that has score the fewest runs in MLB.  To his great credit Tracy sent Gamboa back out to pitch the 9th inning so that Chapman could give the Sox their best chance of keeping the Mariners from scoring with the man starting on 2b.

So is this the return of the Jedi.....ixson ?    A  Rule 5 dropback  from the White Sox.   At least he played in 3 appearances with the other Sox earning  a robust 18.00 ERA

Good thing Mariners have no offense.   Can Arozarena take the night off ?

Only 3 starts above AA. He's a control pitcher who gets hit hard. The jump to MLB is going to be a lot for him. It may not go well. I'm lower on him than I was the other starting prospects that have appeared recently. His velo has ticked up this year, which is huge for him.

Seattle players probably looking at the Angels and thinking Stan Kroenke will be buying a new team for next year, so more competition.

For all the Wong crashers. be glad someone familiar is available because Rut-man apparently is not

more like ass inflammation the way Seattle lit his up yesterday.

I noticed that his velocity was down a bit yesterday. He had routinely been over 100 but yesterday he was mostly in the upper 90s and obviously lost command. Giving all these guys a rest and allowing Cleveland to pass us would be a good strategic move.

Rutschman has elbow inflammation from swing the bat. Played in NY but then it flared back up. Day to day

I'll give Paez a pass if he can get 3 full and hold Seattle to 2 runs

I will be looking to see if he is actually ready for 1st inning , which is a challenge over multiple seasons for some Sox pitchers

Opponents rarely have that problem vs Sox

Sox with 24 to go counting tonight.

15 of those against teams at or below. 500. Orioles=.500

Cubs and Rays are 6 games against .500+ teams.

12-12 to close the regular season should be enough to hold a WC slot

How is not making the PO's a good strategic move? Please enlighten us with your genius. So far the smartest thing you've posted is "outta here."

I think he means let  Cleveland rise to #2 WC. keep #3 for a supposed easy bracket

Getting the third WC isn’t out of the playoffs. I excavated this from my prodigious fund of knowledge
