Rafaela's "swinging at everything" mode is back. Give him a couple of days off to refocus in his pitching recognition.

And this is why bullpen games are such bad ideas.  Only Slaten is rested and 3 others coming off 17 or fewer pitchers are likely available but possibly not at the top of their game.  Bello is off, and Whitlock and Chapman likely as well.

Hopefully Gray can go 7 strong…

The schedule doesn't list stalwart Seth Martinez!

Rafaela needs to get back to taking more pitches

As I said earlier he’s on swinging at everything mode again. He should take a day or two to reset.

Duran with a weak pop up. He needs to be better.

He needs to be optioned. Send him to Worcester to try to get his act together.

How long did you think the Sox would play .865 baseball? That's what their winning percentage was from 6/25-8/07.

The rest of the year.
Duran still needs to go

Conner will be Wong gone when Adley is activated. I'd definitely keep Rogers over him. Rogers is a power threat.

Unfortunately, it appears it will be Rogers being sent down.

Just reporting what I heard on the pregame show.

He has five years of service so he would have to clear wavers before he’s sent down

So far this looks like the pre 6/25 Sox. As did the last two games against the A's.

long-time RS fans like many of us here must feel that the collapse (or 'reversion to [the recent] mean') is just around the corner.

It definitely wouldn't be the first time.

You almost expect it.
Wong has options. He could be sent down
